Yew Tree Inn Valentines Menu

 

Starters

Soup of the day – served with a roll and butter.

Grilled goats’ cheese - with toasted sourdough bread, caramelised onions and a balsamic vinegar dressing.

Roasted mushrooms - filled with Ricotta, served with a salad garnish and toasted walnuts.

Smoked salmon and prawns - served with horseradish cream and a lime vinaigrette.

Trio of pate - served with toast and a salad garnish.

 

Mains

Duck Breast - served with roast vegetables, red onion and bacon potato cubes and a satsuma sauce.

Succulent chicken breast – filled with creamy leeks and mushrooms, topped with Prosciutto and a marsala sauce. Served with vegetables and potatoes.

Fillet Pork Medallions – topped with an apple and calvados sauce and served with spring onion mash and vegetables.

Braised Rib of Beef – roasted cauliflower puree, served with thyme and red wine sauce, vegetables and potatoes.

Seabass Fillet – served on a bed of tomatoes, with new potatoes, capers, tender stem broccoli, carrots and a green bean medley.

Vegetarian Tart – sweet potato, cashew and apricot chutney tart, served with vegetables and potatoes. (vegan and GF)
